TAK Center for Mental Health, located in Leominster, MA, has several openings for independently licensed mental health clinicians in our private outpatient practice. We are seeking Mental Health Clinicians to primarily work remotely through telehealth. Working in-office is an available option as well. You will benefit from having an in-office Psychiatrist and multiple Nurse Practitioners to handle your patients’ medication management needs and direct referrals from TCMH.

Responsibilities: Utilizing clinical social work techniques and theory, consults on, assesses, and intervenes with high-risk patients and their families regarding the impact/amelioration of emotional and social problems. Duties also include, but are not limited to, conducting psychosocial assessments, making a psychosocial diagnosis, planning and implementing effective treatments, evaluation, education, coaching and mentoring of the patient (client) and family members. This position consults with, collaborates, and communicates with internal team members that include psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other therapists.

 

Requirements:

  • Requires Master’s Degree from an accredited school of Social Work.
  • Requires a Massachusetts license as a Licensed Independent Certified Social Worker (or eligible for licensure within 90 days of hire).
  • Requires knowledge of Social Work process and community resources and agencies relative to health, protective services, crisis intervention, disability, etc.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with various healthcare professionals, to develop and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
  • Previous outpatient experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Excellence in time management and staying on time with the day-to-day schedule – 45 minute outpatient appointments are standard.
  • Computer literacy with the ability to use standard word processing, spreadsheet programs and e-mail (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook), web browsers, and familiarity with EMR systems (EClinicalWorks is preferred)

Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for all neuropsychological testing and medical metrics as well as liaise with our interventional therapist to develop activity/lifestyle metrics. This role will develop and implement clinical treatment plans to provide feedback to the patient. The candidate will work with the clinical team members to drive innovation keeping the corporate goals, vision, and corporate culture in mind.

 

Requirements:

Current licensure in Massachusetts.

Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology.

APA-approved postdoctoral training in Adult Neuropsychology.

Computer literacy with the ability to use standard word processing, spreadsheet programs and e-mail (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook), web browsers, and familiarity with EMR systems (EClinicalWorks is preferred)

Responsibilities: Psychiatrists will be expected to utilize telehealth and/or in-clinic-based visits to assess, diagnose and treat a wide variety of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Supportive counseling and consultation are expected, along with psychotropic medication management as indicated to assist patients with problems ranging from short-term interpersonal issues to severe, chronic conditions. By using medical and psychiatric data, psychiatrists will aid in the development of treatment plans, monitor the effects of medications, and collaborate with primary care physicians, psychologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to help patients restore their optimal mental health. This position would require supervision of internal psychiatric nurse practitioners.

 

Requirements:

  • Must have current licensure as a physician in the State of Massachusetts, current licensures with the DEA and the State of Massachusetts for controlled substances, and current certification with the Board of Psychiatry.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with various healthcare professionals, to develop and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
  • Ability to supervise psychiatric nurse practitioners.
